After four years, Sali was due for another portrait. He’s a teenager now, after all! :) This was the spontaneous result of a doodle that happened while I was working on another painting, and also an experiment with a softer painting style. I based his wings off of goose wings…they’re so gorgeous and fluffy. ^__^ The cherry blossoms and glass gems are just pretty things to symbolize Sali’s love of nature and tendency to collect shiny objects, as all his kind do.
