My sketchy-ish tribute to BBC’s Doctor Who, in honor of the new season starting this weekend! <3 <3 I never paint actors, so this was a huge challenge--took quite a lot of staring at and sketching episode stills before I could get his face and outfit semi-right, and this isn't as polished as I would like it to be, but I don't have any more time to spend on it. The Eleventh Doctor, with Gallifrey and Earth in his hands, and lots of swirly starry stuff. Just some typical generic fanart to get the feel of drawing Eleven, and I wanted to try a bit of orange/purple contrast. Doctor Who is copyright BBC and all that.
