When I was painting “Beloved” way back in March, it turned out to be a terrible struggle not to allow the painting to turn into Morgan (one of my horde of original characters). It was a struggle I half-lost; in the end, Morgan got his way with a whole new painting. More than I ever bargained for, and an excuse to practice my realism skills on him once again. Six months of working on this little by little in-between commission work and life *cries for severe lack of time* but I am so pleased to finally be able to share the result with you all!
