Across the seas, beyond the horizon,
Leave a world behind me,
The ghost of a memory is calling.

Wings of a melody I could not keep.
An island never forgotten, never existed.
I could not stay.
Eternity was mine, I held the wings of time.
Opened my hands, let them go….
For the remembrance of a world I could have forgotten.
The Nightmares warned: “That which is real is not.”
My world was not yours, your world was mine.
Your footsteps on the sand…vanish with the tide,
Fade with the song.
Forever gone, forever with me.
The cry that rang from a far, distant shore,
The cry of my heart:
Never leave me, never leave me!
Fly into my dreams once more, fly inside my soul.
In a dream I will sing with you…
